Our top priority is ensuring ALL of our students have a comfortable environment to learn and grow. Safety is of the utmost importance regardless of your age or experience. Our instructors submit to background checks on a regular basis and undergo education
Clean
Cleanliness is the cornerstone of any serious academy. Personal hygiene is enforced and we ask everyone to maintain personal hygiene to make your training partner feel comfortable. Our facility is cleaned on a regular basis and our mat areas are cleaned after every class. We ask all students to keep the facility clean and treat it as their home.
Low-volume, quality instruction
We strive to spend as much time teaching our students as possible. Maintaining a good ratio of qualified instructors to students is key in making sure that you get the best out of every class. You will not be "passed off" to unqualified instructors just to pass the time.
Orientation process
Every new student enjoys a smooth orientation period. This helps new students get accustomed to the classes without fear. Students get comfortable quickly and learn the basics right off the bat. You should not feel like you are ever being "thrown to the wolves.
Convenience
We are centrally located in the center of the state of Connecticut in Berlin. Our facility is only a few minutes from all major highways with ample parking.

Our mission at Valiant Martial Arts is to give all students the opportunity to study Martial Arts at the highest level of instruction available in the area. We strive to make a positive impact on our local and global community by being an extended family to whom our students can look to for mental, physical, and spiritual growth. Essentially, a “home away from home” for those who train with us.
